Our People
Daniel Bechaz
Daniel founded Natural Wood Floors at the age of 21 and has grown the business to service homes all across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. When you first contact Natural Wood Floors, Daniel will be the person who greets you. His job is to consult with you, provide a quote, organise and run the project
Dermott O’Driscoll
Dermott is a carpenter by trade and a hard worker. Dermott has been working with us for 5 years and has refined his carpentry skills to become our lead floor installer. He is a great tradesman and a valuable member of the Natural Wood Floors team.
Brad O’Driscoll
Brad has been with the company for 10 years and has a strong eye for detail. He has excellent communication skills, ensuring each job runs as smoothly as possible. As well as this, he is often found quoting, restoring floors and assisting with installations. He is an integral part of the Natural Wood Floors team.
Shayne O’Driscoll
Shayne has been working with Daniel since Natural Wood Floors’ inception in 2001. They met in the 90s when they played cricket together at the local club. Together, they have transformed thousands of homes across Melbourne. Shayne brings decades of skill and experience to our team. He is also Brad and Dermott’s uncle!

Got the quote done in the evening. Early morning, they were back with 3 people. The day after they were done (2.5 days total to do deep sanding, and 3 layers).
My floor was in a really bad state (to the point I was considering putting floating floor on top of the hard wood), and it was really dark (as per the 2 photos). They brightened it up, and smoothed it out
Would 100% recommend these guys, and will 100% use them again. The entire house feels more modern now, and is substantially brighter inside. In fact, the hardwood flooring looks 100% better than the floating floors I installed (and I am so happy I went this approach).
